You are required to make a 4-week rent prepayment at the time of accepting your offer. The advanced rent prepayment is credited towards the first instalment of your rent.

Your rent will be due on a monthly basis.

If you are looking for accommodation for a different length of time than the minimum 6 months, please contact us directly to discuss your needs.

The Royal Cornwall Hospital Trust hold a number of rooms with Sanctuary Students under a nomination process. To apply for accommodation, in the first instance, please contact reception at the Knowledge Spa. The accommodation team can be contacted by emailing rch-tr.Accommodation@nhs.net or by contacting them on 01872 25 6400. Their offices are open Monday to Friday, between 8.30am and 4pm.

Double En-suite

Treat yourself to a little luxury with a double bed, en-suite bathroom and private study space.

Double Standard

Standard rooms are brilliant value and are fully furnished with a double bed and shared bathroom facilities.

Broadband services are provided by Keycom - one of the UK's leading providers of Internet services for student accommodation.

The Keycom services that are included within your rental price include:

• • KeySurf - Broadband at speeds up to 12Mb symmetric. You will also have the option to upgrade to a 20Mb or 50Mb service.

• • KeyView - IPTV, delivering a range of TV channels direct to your PC or laptop.

You can collect your keys from the day your contract starts. On arrival you will need to go to the office. You will be required to sign a copy of your licence agreement, and have a photo taken for your ID/entry card. You will also need to bring ID and a copy of your offer letter or email, along with a payment receipt. (Remove these items).

You will need to pay your first instalment before you can check in. To avoid delays, this can be made by calling reception on 01872 264 629 making your payment over the phone during opening times, Monday – Friday between 9am – 5pm. All major credit / debit cards are accepted. Once check-in is completed you will be given the keys to your room.

We do not provide any bedding or crockery so please bring these along with you. Alternatively, there are stores in the area which sell homewares.

Parking

Limited parking spaces are available to rent from the Royal Cornwall Hospital partners Q-Park Ltd, please contact them on 01872 272 834 or find out more by visiting the Q Park website. Q-Park are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

To cancel your acceptance of our offer you must speak to our on-site team or call us on 0870 600 4777 at least seven days before the start date of your licence. If you cancel your acceptance at least seven days before the start date of your licence you will be entitled to a refund of your reservation fee, but not your administration fee. If you accept an offer within seven days of the start date of your licence the reservation fee is not refundable.

If you do not notify us of your cancellation of your acceptance you will not be entitled to a refund of your reservation fee. If you cancel your acceptance before the start date of your licence any licence fee paid to us will be refunded. If the start date of your licence has passed and you have moved into the room you cannot cancel your acceptance and may be responsible for the payment of the licence fee until the end of your licence.

TV licence

If you are bringing a TV to watch live TV, or if you receive or record live TV programmes on any other device, such as a laptop, you will need a TV Licence. You won’t be covered by the TV license at your family home.

You need a TV license to watch the BBC iPlayer.

Laundry

Treliske now benefits from LaundryView which will make doing your laundry on-site even easier. The system, created by Circuit, allows you to go online and check the availability of washers and dryers in your building as well as see when other washes are about to end. 

To get started with LaundryView, you first need to find your halls.

Circuit also offer laundry top-up cards which allow you to pay for your washing and drying in advance by paying online or using one of the on-site machines. You can then use your card to pay for washing and drying as well as top-up your card straight from your mobile phone using the Circuit app.

Do you provide insurance?

At Sanctuary Students we offer specialist insurance cover for all of our students through Cover4Students.com.

All of our accommodation is covered as Basic Cover.

Basic Cover Explained

Your possessions, desktop and laptop computer equipment are insured for theft, fire, flood, burst pipes, storm, vandalism, explosion and lightning. Cover applies within your accommodation, in any temporary residence and in transit at the beginning and end of each term.
