Baltic Triangle

Baltic Triangle is known for being home to creatives, musicians and artists. It’s a relaxed part of town close to Chinatown and a short walk from the city centre. There’s a lot of individual shops, cafés and bistros here, as well as galleries and places to chill or explore, depending on your mood.

Liverpool City Centre

Liverpool city centre is where the action is at. It’s a convenient place to live but might be noisy and a little too lively at times. It’s busy, energetic, friendly and interesting with plenty of shopping, dining, takeaways, pubs, bars, clubs and things to see and do.

Knowledge Quarter

The Knowledge Quarter of Liverpool is another predominantly student area sandwiched between Islington and the Georgian Quarter. It’s full of shops, cafés, an e-sports club, music, pubs, bars and John Lennon’s old haunt, Ye Cracke. It’s a relaxed area with a cool vibe, so it's a nice place to spend time in.

Ropewalks

Ropewalks was voted one of the UK’s ‘hippest’ areas, but don’t hold that against it. The area is an eclectic mix of independent stores, bohemian businesses, bakeries, cafés, bistros, the Michael Jackson Moonwalker mural and St Luke’s the bombed-out church.

Wavertree

Wavertree is a very popular student area with lots going on. It’s geared up for students, so has plenty of shops, pubs, bars, cafés, takeaways and supermarkets. It’s a short walk or bus ride to the University of Liverpool and is a nice place to spend time in.

Liverpool University area

The Liverpool University area, as the name suggests, is ideal for University of Liverpool and Liverpool John Moores University. It’s a city centre location, close to shopping, eating, buses, Central Library, World Museum and the Walker Art Gallery.

Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU)

Liverpool John Moores University is a well-respected university based in the city centre. It’s a good university known for business, law, sports and exercise sciences, teaching and learning, physical education and for its research.

It has over 25,000 students, both undergraduates and postgraduates.

Liverpool Hope University

Liverpool Hope University was created by merging Saint Katherine's College, Notre Dame College and Christ's College. It’s known for accounting and finance, drama, dance, fine art, education, geography, health science and computer science but offers many more courses.

Liverpool Hope University has around 5,000 students, both undergraduates and postgraduates.

Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA)

Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts was founded by Paul McCartney and Mark Featherstone-Witty in 1996. It’s in the city centre and is best known for offering courses in acting, dance, music and related theatrical courses.

Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts is rated #1 in the country for its specialist degrees.

University of Liverpool

The University of Liverpool is based in the city centre and has a long and illustrious history stretching back to 1881. It’s known for having 10 Nobel prize-winners as former students and for chemistry, computer science, engineering, food science, medicine and English.

The University of Liverpool has around 30,000 students, both undergraduates and postgraduates.

Building-wide Wi-Fi and Ethernet broadband service are included in your rent and offer you a reliable and secure internet connection suitable for all your academic and personal needs, including browsing the internet, sending emails, downloading and streaming.

The broadband service is provided by Glide, a leading provider of managed internet services to student accommodation.
