What’s more, they’re based in the city centre, so will be close to universities, colleges and everywhere you’re likely to want to go.

What are the student areas of Liverpool?

The main student areas are around Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, the University of Liverpool, John Moores University and Hope University.

Students tend to live around Chinatown, the Georgian Quarter, Baltic Triangle, and Lark Lane too, so those are all viable areas to look for student accommodation in Liverpool.

What will my Liverpool student studio include?

All of our student housing in Liverpool includes appliances, a kettle, ironing board and Wi-Fi. The rent also includes all utilities, like electricity and heating, water, internet and insurance.

You’ll need to provide your own bedding, towels and personal items, though. There are TVs in social areas, but you can bring your own if you like.

How do I get around Liverpool?

Liverpool is very walkable, but there is also an excellent bus service. You can use either Stagecoach Merseyside or Arriva North West for local services. There are also Ubers and local taxis and trains from Liverpool Lime Street station.

Most students walk or cycle around. There is the underground too if you prefer.

Is Liverpool a safe place for students?

Liverpool is as safe as any city. As long as you watch where you go and take the same practical precautions you would take anywhere, you’ll be fine. Liverpool did have a reputation back in the 1980s and 90s, but much of that has gone now.

Does my Liverpool student studio include Wi-Fi?

Yes, it does! We know that no student accommodation in Liverpool would be complete without internet, so we include it with all our student studios. Coverage is good throughout our buildings and there should be enough bandwidth for everyone, regardless of what you’re doing!

Who cleans my Liverpool student studio?

You do! We take care of all the communal areas and make sure all social spaces are kept clean, but your studio accommodation is your responsibility.

Can I change my Liverpool student studio if I don’t like it?

Sanctuary Students wants you to be completely happy with your Liverpool student studio. If you don’t like it for any reason, contact a member of our team and we’ll do what we can to remedy the situation. If you need to move and we have the space, you can do so.
